A chance

I don’t want to sound arrogant or anything, but when I see the quantity of books that are published, I can’t help but think that a good amount of them are simply badly written. So why wouldn’t anybody, like me or my neighbor, have a chance to get published one day?
Ah these little nasty thoughts we all have from time to time…
