Inspired By You!
Inspired By You! is the (temporary?) name of my new project.
I’m starting from scratch and will be writing about the whole process. Basically, I’d like to interview people who inspire me, people who have an interesting lifestyle and/or career path.
Not too long ago, I thought that the only future for me was to get a job and fit into whatever I’d have to fit into in order to pay the bills. In my mind, creating things or choosing to do something I love wasn’t a real option, especially since there is a financial crisis. I also didn’t have a good idea of what I could do, which companies are interesting or which positions there are to occupy. I noticed that in certain fields, like linguistics or litterature, the educational system (in my case, universities) is somewhat disconnected from the business market. In other words, from the students’ future.
I was terribly anxious, and I felt there is something to be done so others won’t have to feel that way.
I’d like to show students everywhere (and anyone else) that there are multiple ways of having a career, and opportunities few people know about. I know the world isn’t perfect. I know we don’t always have a choice.
But it’s important to let ourselves be inspired by others.
